Our supply chain

MRG expects suppliers, subcontractors and other organisations working on our behalf to comply with applicable legal and contractual requirements and to operate consistently with our responsible-business commitments.

Our supply-chain approach is proportionate to the nature of the service, the location and circumstances of the work, and the level of identified risk. Where appropriate, this may include considering a supplier’s employment practices, ethical standards, health and safety arrangements, environmental performance and approach to modern slavery and human rights.

Due diligence and risk management

MRG considers modern slavery and human rights risks when establishing and managing relevant business relationships. The level of review and oversight applied is proportionate to the risk presented by the activity, supplier, subcontractor, project or location.

Where concerns are identified, MRG will consider the circumstances and take proportionate action. This may include seeking further information, agreeing corrective action, increasing oversight, suspending activity or ending a business relationship where appropriate.

People and awareness

MRG communicates its expectations through its management system, employment arrangements and relevant supplier or subcontractor requirements. People working for or on behalf of MRG are expected to act responsibly, follow applicable controls and raise concerns promptly.

Anyone with a genuine concern about modern slavery, human trafficking, labour exploitation or a potential human rights issue connected with MRG’s activities or supply chain is encouraged to report it promptly.

Concerns may be raised through an MRG contact or by emailing reception@martinralph.co.uk. MRG will consider concerns appropriately and does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.

If someone is in immediate danger or a crime may be taking place, the relevant emergency service or law-enforcement authority should be contacted.

Governance and review

MRG’s management is responsible for overseeing this statement and the supporting arrangements. MRG reviews its approach in response to changes in its activities, supply chain, legal obligations and identified risks, and seeks continual improvement where appropriate.
